HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL

About This Production

Crescendo Theatre is very keen to bring Heathers to life as our third annual production! For those familiar with the Heathers musical, we are performing the 2019 West End version - with 'You're Welcome'; 'Never Shut Up Again';  'I Say No' and 'I Am Damaged'. 

The character information below is based off the 2019 West End production casting however our audition process is open and inclusive to performers of any gender, ethnicity and sexuality. 

Heathers is a dark comedy musical with the book, music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe & Kevin Murphy. Based on the cult classic 1989 film, Westerberg High is ruled by a shoulder-padded, scrunchie-wearing trio: Heather, Heather and Heather, the hottest and cruelest girls in all of Ohio. But misfit Veronica Sawyer rejects their evil regime for a new boyfriend, the dark and sexy stranger Jason Dean (JD), who plans to put the Heathers in their place - six feet under.
